Cargas Energy provides technology solutions for fuel companies. They came to us wanting to humanize an industry most people never think about, while highlighting their services. We partnered with them to make a short documentary about their client, Inter-Island Propane.


Getting propane to the San Juan Islands isn't simple. There are no pipelines, no easy freight routes - just ferries, barges, and a small team the community depends on to keep the fuel flowing through long Pacific Northwest winters. The film follows a unique friendship and the relentless spirit of problem-solving that helps Inter-Island Propane navigate the extraordinary logistics of island life to serve their neighbors.

Storyboard

Cargas' presence in the film was minimal and emerged from the narrative organically, avoiding the tropes of testimonial videos. The film resonated across industry events and digital platforms, giving people a chance to connect with the human side of the work: the service, the relationships, and the mission at its core.
